 Cool Water Photography presents 12 photography weekends for couples a year in the city that has seen many patriots and pirates live and die with in the city’s corridors. Wilmington has been a place where extravagant and dicey roadhouses and speakeasies flourished in the 20’s and is filled with stunning and romantic places to experience today creating wonderful memories for tomorrow. Come stroll the planks and imagine the escape and capture of buccaneers, blockade-runners, and bounties on the brink of the Cape Fear River’s River Walk.  Capture the magnificent southern sun as it sets behind the only battleship that took part in all 12 major offensive naval campaigns in the Pacific during World War II.

 These photography workshops are different than most any photography workshop you’ll ever attend. We explore the technique of photography, the art of observation and how film and digital respond to light, but we also try and open the door to the Creator and your creation as a person and a couple.
